Born and raised in New York City, Jacob is jewish with Peruvian and Ashkanazi descendants. The lines resemble a rhythm of calligraphic patterned shapes, continuously and similarly. Jacob says it's never a mess but a rhythm. Jacob uses acrylic marker or pen on rolling paper usually stretched on a wall, reimaged or table sized for all media. Tending to choose the pens rather than the brush to capture small detail. This is an intuitive practice. The Artist and Observer is the subject of the many shapes and characters that come alive.
